It seems I've been painting a ton of chickadees these days, these two pieces were the beginnings of a special project that I hope comes to fruition soon. These two happy spring birds are getting ready to fly out of my studio this coming week and hopefully, onto a new home.

This coming week I'm on to other painting projects, ones that do not include chickadees this time. The spring weather here in NY has been lovely, leading to lots of walks in the mornings and yoga sessions as well. It is amazing how much more "alive" I feel in the beautiful spring weather, ready for activity and painting projects as well. I hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful and inspiring spring this year.
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Ruth! I love this spring weather too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, love the bright colors!!
ReplyDeletejust beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThese colours really pop! Yes, I have been hearing lots of chirping outside the window in the mornings of late.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Your painting is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful and full of spring! It is amazing how the transformation in the weather makes such a difference in how we feel.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am avoiding the china. My parents gave me their first which I adore, but don't dare use! Maybe someday I will have the confidence to use the pieces without breaking them!
Love this. Of course I would, anything with wild birds in it suite me just fine. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappiness to all.
Hi Ruth, Gorgeous as always. Love the bright color and softness with the background. You have been busy I see and inspired by your warm weather too. It is warm here as well and really gives me spring fever.
ReplyDeleteHave fun creating and good luck in my giveaway.
Enjoy the rest of the week.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
Warm here in Georgia. I think spring missed us altogether. But everything is in bloom. So lovely.
