This weekend we are going on a trip to celebrate our anniversary. We'll be staying at one of our favorite places, Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz New York.
Mohonk has been around since 1869 and is a 265 room victorian resort. If you want to read more about it, you can visit -

We try to go to Mohonk whenever possible. It is also a great place for day trips, hiking, dinner etc. The gardens there are just beautiful and the hiking trails are endless. I was there last Sunday with my husband's woodwind trio. They were playing at a wedding there so I was walking around the garden and taking lots of photos.
These photos were taken last week, sitting on the back porch that faces Lake Mohonk. They have rocking chairs set up all over, for those of us that cannot sit still. I'll be sure to take lots more photos while we are there this weekend. After even an afternoon here, I always feel like my creative juices have been restored and are ready to go. It is a very inspiring place!

Thanks Jo. Kate, I will definatley be posting more photos in upcoming weeks/months,so stay tuned. When I was there for just a few hours last weekend, I took over 150 pics so, I'm sure I'll get a ton this weekend, many more then I can possibly show at once.
