Some Tropical Inspiration

I wanted to post more of my photos from the tropical flower show at the NY Botanical Garden. I just have way too many to post at once so, I thought these all complimented each other nicely.

All throughout the year at the gardens, they have fabulous displays and special events. We try to go whenever we can. Along with a couple of other places, this is a favorite to visit. The two photos above are always decorated differently depending on the events that are going on at the time. During the Orchid show, they are decked out with hanging and potted Orchids all around.

Enjoy the tropical pictures...hope it brings a bit of inspiration to your day.

Beautiful pictures! The yellow flower is fascinating.

Thanks Jo. Jean, I don't know what that yellow flower is. When we go through the garden, I usually like to take photos of the name signs throughout, that way, I know what each plant is later. My husband tends not to want to do that as I think he feels it spoils the picture. This must be one of his.

Thanks Catherine....I try to go as much as I can. There is a show that will start there soon that I really want to go too.

It is Kiku, the art of the Japanese Chrysanthemum. That looks just fabulous and I really want to go and get a lot of photos...we'll see, hopefully we will get there. I'll post lots of pics if I do go.

How wonderful to see these tropical images now that the autumn winds are blowing!I love the first photo where the pots are all painted white! I once did that but painted all my pots grey and planted nothing but white flowers..really was a clean look..perhaps next year again!
I want to thank you for standing by me with encouraging words of comfort while I recover..means a lot!!hugging
