What's An Artist To Do....

Ok, so the question is, what's an artist to do when she is in what I like to call (a sudafed induced brain coma ) brought about by the deliberate ingestion of this product to relieve horrible allergies?? You obviously cannot paint when you are in this state but you can still be creative. The pendants in this post originated from just the situation I described...I was feeling poorly over the weekend and couldn't paint but I decided to get creative with some new pendant designs. Large and bold designs taken from various painted pieces I've done over they years. The bird is from a ceiling tin and the Morning Glory is from a gourd.

The bluebird is created from a jewelry box and the lady bug from a goose eggshell pin.

The dragonfly from an eggshell pin and the butterfly from a turkey display egg.

The purple African Violets are from an eggshell pin and the chickadee is from....I cannot remember where. Seriously, I cannot remember but I better figure it out soon.

The butterfly image from a ceiling tin and the pink rose from an eggshell pin. Until next time when my brain is hopefully more clear....enjoy.

I too hope you're feeling better. I've been sick with sore throat and cold. I'm not nearly as creative as you when I'm feeling bad. Those are beautiful!! xoxo

Those are beautiful, Ruth...and very ethereal. They all evoke such a calm, inspiring feeling.

These are so beautiful and you are so very talented. I hope you will feel so much better very soon... I can related to the sudafed induced coma! Sometimes I will take an Excedrin migraine (contains caffiene) along with the Sudafed just to counteract the drowsy effect.

Blessings,
Christi

Ruth ...I do hope you are feeling better. Your work certainly doesn't reflect the fact that you are in a 'Sudafed induced coma'.

I love the African Violets the chickadee!

Wishing you and your family a wonderful and safe holiday!
