"Strength" Acrylic Painting On Gallery Canvas

Are you fascinated with the majestic stature and quiet beauty of trees? I know I am and that is what led me to create "Strength", a 24" x 36" tree painting on gallery canvas. I think sometimes beautiful trees are overshadowed by the flash and beauty of colorful gardens. I took so many beautiful tree photos on my vacation and as I walked around looking at all the different varieties, it really hit me that while the lovely gardens come and go with the seasons, the trees are ever-present all year long. www.artfulcreations.etsy.com

Ruth, I am not an artist, but agree, the stark beauty of trees . When we are out driving, i often observe the trees and how beautiful they look in all the seasons . http://primcyn1.blogspot.com/2010/02/blog-post_13.html cindy

Wonderful painting Ruth!!
Yes I am also intrigued by trees, many of the shapes of the trunks, limbs and branches are fascinating as are the various color tones.

Love the bare tree. Not fond of the one that is in my yard this year (we'll have to take it down) but it sure looks nice on canvas!

This painting is beautiful Ruth! I also love trees. Living in New England I find them to be so special every season. I recently planted a couple of young trees in my yard and am really looking forward to watching them grow over the years! ~Val

Your tree is beautiful. I know the title is called "Strength", but I wonder if he has a name? I have a tree in my forest - his name is Methuselah.

This is awesome. I love painting trees too. It's so much fun coming up with their shape and making their branches. You did a really good job with this tree - he looks strong and sturdy and beautiful. :)
