Orchids In Bloom.....

I'm lucky enough right now to have 9 of my orchids either in bloom or coming into bloom very shortly. Having beautiful orchid blooms to look forward to really does help brighten my winter days.
This particular orchid with the beautiful waxy red bloom, I had to wait for 2 years to rebloom for me when I first got it. Now that the first rebloom was accomplished, it will bloom again for me each year without any special help on my part.
I got this light stand a few years back, lovely piece of furniture and it sits in my dining room and hold many of my orchids. It comes with built in humidity trays too, which help keep all the plants happy.
Hope you've enjoyed the blooming orchids.......

Hi Ruth,
Your orchids are gorgeous and I love the light table for them. It is a beautiful piece of furniture too in your dining room. What a wonderful and inspiring spot to look at each day and see your beautiful orchids. You have beauty all around and it does help the winter pass a bit better. We are warming up here and it is predicted to be 82 degrees tomorrow. Then cold again on Friday.
Oh well, it is still winter.

So great to see you today and thank you for your kind comment.
I did find one large shell and anxious to create with it.

Sending hugs, Celestina Marie

The orchids are beautiful Ruth! Someday, when I no longer have cats, I plan to have orchids. The blooms are so stunning they look artificial! That has always intrigued me.

Amazing orchids!! Will you be painting any of them?

And eeeee, Walking Dead is SO good. My opinion of Shane keeps dropping but I'm not quite at the hate stage yet.
