Bryce Canyon Nationall Park - Utah

Bryce Canyon National Park was the third stop on my trip out west and along with Zion National Park from my last trip photos, they were my very favorites.

Isn't the view breathtaking?? It certainly was a thrill to walk down into this gorgeous canyon. My camera was attached to my wrist the whole time we were walking our way down into the center of the canyon. I stopped a lot along the way down as well as the way back up, to snap these photos.

The closest thing I can say to put the experience into words would be....imagine walking on a giant chess board, with these larger then life chess pieces surrounding you everywhere you turned. That is what walking down into Bryce Canyon was like!!!

One of the fun things we did on this trip was to stop and take photographs of each other with these gorgeous vistas in the background. Me, my walking stick and my back pack on the edge of the chess board.

You can click to make any of the photos you see larger.

I hope you've enjoyed the view into Bryce Canyon. One more stop on the trip to show but I'll save that for next time.

My next blog post I'll be hosting a fall egg art giveaway. I'm creating a special piece for this, a decorative egg with stand. I'm also looking at this as a fun opportunity to get out some of my egg art creations and re-photograph them in display groupings. Just another excuse to get my camera out, which is one of my favorite things to do.
