Family Photos

I haven't listed any family photos with all of us in the same post yet so I thought I would do that this time. Chris and I on our porch, surrounded by pots full of Impatiens. Holy cow, we've been married 19 years now.

Chris in his uniform, cleaning up his instrument after one of the outdoor Trophy Point concerts here at West Point. For those of you who don't know, he's in the West Point band and is principal bassoonist. Notice that there is nobody else around him on stage?? That is because, for some odd reason that I've never figured out, he takes longer then anyone else to clean his instrument. Everyone else might actually be on their way home while we wait for him to finish.

Dudley on my lap. He loves posing for photographs and really seems to understand what the whole thing is about...he's such a little model.

Willow has no clue I'm taking his photo and wouldn't care if he did know, he's not into posing, he's always just doing his own thing.

Orchid knows I'm taking her photo and she's giving me a cheeky little smile.

Great photos of the family, Ruth! I thought that was an updated avatar, so I had to come and take a peek.

Great family photos...I think doggies make the best family members cause you can choose them yourself. I just love the puppies, I have four myself and hopefully will get some pics on my blog soon! One cannot live without the company of furry ones!

Thanks ladies, Yep, since childhood I was wondering why I couldn't pick my own relatives. That has always been kind of a bummer. Friends and pets however, are another story entirely.

What sweet photos! And your sweet pups are adorable. You married a basoonist! I am a flutist who married a drummer of all things! While I was playing jazz and classical, hubby was playing jazz and rock. =)

Lovely photos, three lovely dogs too. We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary last week :)

That's funny Louise...I studied flute for a time. I decided though and very smartly I might add, that the music world was better off without me. :)

Congratulations WG on your 39th anniversary!!!!

I'm such a dog lover. My foyer is filled with dog paintings and prints. Your three are so cute I had to call my daughter in to look at them. Love their names too!
