Beautiful Thanksgiving Music - The Arabesque Trio

The Arabesque Trio presents great music of the classical masters -- Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Debussy and many more -- in exquisite performances characterized by precision, expressivity and tonal beauty.  The trio consists of Barbara Rizek - flutist , Gregory Dinger - classical guitar and arranger and (my husband) Chris Eberle - bassoonist.

Chris loves playing in this trio and from the many recitals and performances of theirs that I have gone to I can truly say that the combination of the 3 instruments playing together is gorgeous.

The trio performs throughout New York's Hudson Valley at recitals, graduations, weddings and special events.  They just came out with a new performance video below, the perfect Thanksgiving week music, have a listen and enjoy the beautiful sounds..  Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!

Family Photos

I haven't listed any family photos with all of us in the same post yet so I thought I would do that this time. Chris and I on our porch, surrounded by pots full of Impatiens. Holy cow, we've been married 19 years now.

Chris in his uniform, cleaning up his instrument after one of the outdoor Trophy Point concerts here at West Point. For those of you who don't know, he's in the West Point band and is principal bassoonist. Notice that there is nobody else around him on stage?? That is because, for some odd reason that I've never figured out, he takes longer then anyone else to clean his instrument. Everyone else might actually be on their way home while we wait for him to finish.

Dudley on my lap. He loves posing for photographs and really seems to understand what the whole thing is about...he's such a little model.

Willow has no clue I'm taking his photo and wouldn't care if he did know, he's not into posing, he's always just doing his own thing.

Orchid knows I'm taking her photo and she's giving me a cheeky little smile.
