Rose Garden Pavilion

The above photo was taken last summer at the Vanderbilt Mansion here in Hyde Park NY. We try to go once or twice a year, even if we don't tour the house, the grounds are amazing. This particular day was 95 degrees and we very smartly decided not to tour the house with all the rest of humanity and no air conditioning, but instead, opted for a walk through the gardens and then on to one of our favorite Italian restaurants . Some day I will post more pictures from this trip but if you would like to see more of Frederick & Louise Vanderbilt's little shack, you can visit: www.nps.gov/vama . This is a photo of the rose garden pavilion, the gardens on the Vanderbilt estate are just gorgeous and the rose garden itself is huge.

So what does the rose garden pavilion above, have to do with this really beautiful, large 24" x 24"ceiling tin I received in the mail a few weeks ago??? Any ideas?? Hopefully in a few more posts, you'll get to see.
