The New York Botanical Garden Orchid Show

The New York Botanical Garden is starting to burst into spring bloom. Although today was rainy and dreary, Chris and I went to the orchid show as we do every year. Inside the Enid Haupt Conservatory there are no worries about rain, only a display of gorgeous orchids.

Come on in and take a peek.......

As usual, I shot too many pictures to list in one or two posts but I will do my best to highlight some of the beautiful plants we saw. Today I'm focusing on close up shots and in the next blog post I'll show some of the overall displays. I've only sorted through a fraction of the photos so far.

I don't think orchids this beautiful need much said on their behalf so, consider this a silent movie of sorts ....... Enough said!!!! Just Enjoy!!!!
